KKP-ST, IC organize preconvention seminar

An overview of the Global Chemists Code of Ethics served as the focal point of the talk given by Dr. Jennifer P. Tamayo during the first of two seminars organized by Kapisanang Kimika ng Pilipinas–Southern Tagalog, Inc. (KKP-ST, Inc.). After this first event held early this year on February 5, the next seminar conducted on February 26 focused on “Laboratory efficiency and effectiveness: Role of material sourcing” with three guest speakers.

KKP-ST, Inc –a professional organization of chemists and chemistry-related courses– coordinated with the UPLB Institute of Chemistry to conduct the seminars at the Physical Science Lecture Hall A. The event was attended by various researchers from UPLB units and other universities, as well by students and faculty of the institute.
