Institute director Dr. Hidelisa P. Hernandez served as the resource person to expound more on this year’s theme, “Chemistry: Rising to Challenges.” With its aim “to contribute to a greater public interest in and appreciation of chemistry particularly among the youth,” the event gathered Grade IV to Grade VII pupils from across the region to participate in the contest.  ∎
